The International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICOMEET II – 2023) is the second international conference organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universitas Andalas, Indonesia. In 2021, ICOMEET I was successfully attended by distinguished keynote speakers and hundreds of participants worldwide.

The ICOMEET will be held online and offline (hybrid meeting) on 1st November in Hotel Santika Premiere Padang, Wet Sumatera, Indonesia, the capital city of West Sumatera Province. Keynote speakers and overseas participants will attend virtually through the ZOOM Webinar platform. While domestic participants can choose to participate online or offline during registration. Padang City is well known for its Minangkabau culture, delicious cuisine, and beautiful sunset beaches. Offline participants can visit Padang and the surrounding area or spend time diving, snorkeling, or boat traveling at many beautiful islands such as Sikuai, Mandeh, and Mentawai. About 2 hours drive from this city, there is Pagaruyung palace, a beautiful historical site that introduces visitors to Minangkabau’s traditional cultures.
